Getting access to the mass storage and cluster
To gain access to the mass storage and cluster, you need:
to register as a GIGA member or collaborator.
If you are a GIGA member: you should automatically have access to the mass storage and the cluster. If it is not the case, please contact the GIGA administration.
If you are a collaborator of a GIGA team: ask the PI you are collaborating with to contact the UDI GIGA-MED.

to connect from within the ULiège or CHU network, or via the Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Note
If you need access to a specific folder on the mass storage, you must contact the UDI GIGA-MED.
Connecting to the mass storage and cluster
There are two different methods to connect to the mass storage. Here are the situations in which you should use one or the other.
you want to access data stored on the mass storage from your computer’s file browser.
you want to transfer small files
from your computer to the mass storage.
from the mass storage to your computer.
Connect with SSH if:
you want to analyse data on the GIGA cluster.
you want to manage large (or small) files stored on the mass storage.
