Attention

For members of other ULiège labs than the GIGA, please contact your UDI.

Contact the UDI GIGA-MED via SAM (leaving the “Catégorie concernée” to its default value, i.e. “UDI-MED”) if:

• you need help with DoX, Office365 or the ULiège VPN.

• you want to create a new team and/or project folder on the mass storage.

• you want to create a new PLATFORMS, ARCHIVES or SHARE directory.

• you want to add/remove a member from a team and/or project.

• you want to retrieve a previously backed-up version of a file (Not always possible).

• you want information about quotas.

• you want to increase your storage space.

Note

It is also mandatory to contact the UDI GIGA-MED before:

• connecting a new instrument that will produce large amount of data to the mass storage.

• running an analysis that will generate a large number of small files that cannot be encapsulated in an archive.

• copying/downloading 1 TB of data or more.

Contact the Bioinformatics Team via SAM (setting the “Catégorie concernée” to “BIOINFO-GIGA”) if:

• you need help using the terminal, Slurm, Singularity, Conda, Git or other standard bioinformatics tools.

• you want to move data to/from the mass storage.

• you want to send data to our offline archiving system.

• you want us to install a bioinformatics tool globally.

• you have questions/feedbacks about this documentation.

Contact the GIGA administration by email at admin.giga@uliege.be if:

• you are a member of the GIGA and do not have access to the mass storage and/or cluster.
